Charles A. Czeisler, PhD, MD
Dr. Czeisler is the Baldino Professor of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Chief of the Division of Sleep Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and the Director of the Harvard Medical School Division of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Czeisler's research focuses on the neuropsychological influences of the human circadian pacemaker. His work has been instrumental in defining how the circadian system is influenced by light, how the circadian system influences sleep, and the public health consequences of sleep loss and shift work.

Susan Redline, MD, MPH

Dr. Redline is the Peter C. Farrell Professor of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Senior Physician in the Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Physician in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Her research interests are primarily focused on: 1) conducting epidemiological studies designed to elucidate the etiologies of sleep disorders, including the role of genetic and early life developmental factors, and 2) conducting epidemiological and clinical trials aimed at understanding the health outcomes, particularly the cardiovascular consequences, of sleep disorders and the role of sleep interventions in improving health.
